The Process
From our first conversation to getting your keys, I will guide you through each step and keep you updated along the way.
We will start with your budget, timeline, must-haves and the areas you are considering. If you are financing, I can also connect you with a trusted lender so you know exactly what you are comfortable spending.
I will help narrow your options, send homes that fit what you are looking for and schedule private showings around your availability. We will compare homes, neighborhoods, commute times and the details that matter to you.
Once you find the one, I will walk you through the offer, explain the contract and help you decide on price, terms and negotiations.
If your offer is accepted, we are officially under contract. Earnest money and option money are delivered, inspections are completed and we work through any resulting negotiations. If you are financing, your lender begins moving the loan toward approval and orders the appraisal when applicable.
The title company researches ownership and any issues affecting the property, prepares the title commitment and works toward a clear title. As closing approaches, we will review your final numbers, complete the final walkthrough and make sure everything is ready for closing day.
You will sign your closing documents and send any remaining funds needed to close. Once everything is signed, funded and the transaction is complete, it is time for the best part: getting the keys to your new home.
